I’m aware of my goof up with the Canterlot issue lol. I forget minor details like such every now and then. My apologies~
I mean, Son Goku from Dragon Ball only knows how to teleport himself, but the technique is such that, anyone that is in physical contact with him gets teleported with him.
So the way he teleports large groups of more than six people, is for them to hold hands, then one person grabs on to Goku.
Starlight could modify her teleportation spell like that.
In fairness, she was stalking Twilight at the time, and not really paying attention to her surroundings. Also, three times, because she had to get Starswirl’s spell.
