It’s a perfectly valid lesson to learn in life. Sometimes life really isn’t fair, and yes, sometimes you can’t change your fortunes no matter how hard you try. At the end of the day you should examine what you have and be thankful to have what you do, because there are others who have it much worse. If all you do is spend your life in pursuit of what others have, you’ll never be truly happy.

Maybe not so much wrong for wanting it, but wanting it to an obsession. Fixating on something you can’t have is self-destructive. Luna allowed jealousy to eat away at her until it undermined her sanity.
