Our very pressence here is magic.  
We are in contact with entities we don’t really know or see trough means that cannot be explained to a layman using the energy of the lightning and runes and the processed bodies of mystical animals that perished millions of years ago.  
(We talk with users with usernames trough the Internet using electricity and circuits with computers partially made of plastic, wich cames from petroleum)

Okay, looking at an article, weak and magnetism are linked, countering that issue. if you could TOTALLY remove the weak force, I suppose that would work. Still, the mechanism that would go into that…

Yep! And i’ve read a good amount of physics… This quantum stuff missed my brain when thinking about this though
 
Lowering any short-range forces which keep the atoms together would help, but they’d still be attracted magnetically… You’d need to make it actively repulse at some point, which does work with dark energy (though we see that at universe-scale IRL)

Ok, after some research…  
There are 4 major forms the mass interacts with itself. Fundamental Forces.  
Long ranged, weak (gravity) and strong (magnetism)  
Short ranged, weak (beta decay) and strong (nuclear)
 
Lowering the weak force may alter the quarks (bricks inside protons) and the whole atom structure.  
Difficult to understand, I know, but maybe this “dark energy” can play a role in it.  
You were refering to an inter-atomic level, I say that it might work altering the intra-subatomic level.
 
Too complicated, yeah, I’m not holding a physics phd. But if we are talking about magic, we have to talk about science so advanced that has to be mistaken with magic. Right?

You’d have to weaken magnetic attraction in that region… Unfortunately, that’d also weaken the forces which create lightning. There is no ‘cost’ to binding to an atom; only gain. Formation of bonds releases energy, breaking of bonds takes energy, and to keep a plasma going, you either need to constantly break bonds (which is what we do with heat), or add a cost to binding (hence the shield / ‘dark energy’ idea)

And what if the laws and binding energy (or whatever) of the atoms changed to be much more weak than they normally are? That would reduce the heating of the plasma state, right?

More accurately the energy of emotions. if it WERE a plasma, the electrons would have to be held seperate from the protons in the core for a prolonged time-period. That just seems a bit too complex for raw ‘energy’ which is not heat to do :/ I suppose a shield surrounding the atoms could work, but without the spiral-archetecture of the horn, it wouldn’t be able to create such a thing… Alternately, some form of ‘pressure’ that fills the space between atoms, I suppose… Reminds me of “Dark Energy” IRL

The thing is, the sheer amount of heat coming from a plasma… Biology wouldn’t be able to take that.  
If you’re sayiing it’s a plasma because there’s a lot of energy in there… What kind of energy? Kinetic would BE heat, so it’d have to be some form of wierd anti-gravity force… Though, admittedly, Twi HAS cast an anti-gravity spell in the past… And anti-gravity material is needed for wormholes, which, well, EQG mirror.

What about a plasma that is been maintanined by a huge ammount of energy rather than heat?  
Might explain the weird lightning happening in there.
 
The “cloud” might been attached to Starlight by electromagnetic bonds powered from her horn and confined in a certain shape because it cannot mix with the air surrounding it. Like water and oil.

It’s confirmed that magic has a part in pegasus flight, so we can’t use that.

We have no idea what the atmospheric pressure is either. The small size of pegasus wings (assuming you’re not allowing for unknown physical forces) suggests that the atmosphere may well be extraordinarily dense.

Another issue with measuring mass: We don’t know the mass of Equus (the planet). Without that, we can’t know the gravitational pull experienced by objects on the surface…

I don’t trust volumes measured in Equestria. I’d suggest someone measures volumes in EQG, then uses the scene where Twi puts a hand through the portal (converting it into a hoof) to convert those volumes to Equestrian volumes, before finding a good ‘falling object’ of known mass and density to measure (nothing biological if it can be helped)
