Legit question, why does it matter so much to you? You could be doing so much more productiver things with your time, instead you’re on a two-day old toxic mario post debating about how a comic is funny or not. Just move on already, you’re on like every toxic mario thread to begin with. Why is he so important to you? Go work on your own art or something.

Now I really don’t want to sound mean but… please tell me HOW this is a parody on the synopsis of the episode? Because this is the synopsis that was on EQD:
 
“In the back-to-back premiere episodes titled “Celestial Advice” and “All Bottled Up,” Twilight Sparkle agonizes over Starlight Glimmer’s future and receives some much-needed advice from her very own mentor – Princess Celestia. Like I said :p because everybody that has been mean or malicious have been blocked by him already. If you go to his comic “sinkers and floaters” there are quite a few comments that were hidden.
 
Oh and I have to second the motion that it looks like Starlight’s foreleg seems to be growing out of her cheek.

Okay, this conversation is nice and all, but it’s not that possibly mocking dimentia is bad but that the joke has no context. Is it a parody? What’s the context here? Why should we find it funny?

It’s 22 and 8, that’s a positive score.it’s got almost 2000 views and 100 favorites on DA and all the DA comments are positive.

Or, crazy idea, the problem isn’t with the comic. Because people can make comics about whatever they want and I’ve seen comics about worse topics than dementia get higher votes

maybe dont make a joke about dementia of a loved character? i dont know that migth keep the comic on positive likes

So is the joke dementia? Because other than calling Starlight Sunset, that is how it seems. If she had instead used names for the other characters that were similar characters, it’d be a joke on how they’re not too original. But those were just made up names. So it was using dementia as the punchline, whilst misleading people into thinking it was something funny.

Not sure what you guys are being sore about. I find this hilarious via thinking of it as her saying “Different era, different ponies, same freaking personalities and dynamics. They might as well have the same name.”
 
Granted, it’s incredibly inaccurate, but that just makes it funnier.
