Not so much textbook definition as much as just ‘most people are handicapped to only be able to use so much imagination at a time, so they have to rely on realistic size difference in their fantasy fetish’.
 
That, or the way their brain functions doesn’t allow them to take a character’s mouth widening in a snake-like fashion even remotely seriously, let alone jerk off to it.

Just objects is usually object vore or if you wanna be fancy some people call it pica, but yeah it is a fun thing still. As they said tho vore in its most simple form is putting another living thing somewhere inside a body, doesn’t have to be eating or anything specific like that.

That’s pretty much a textbook definition of vore
 
I thought vore was the impossible swallowing of a life-size subject whole. looks it up Well, I do see that it’s true, but frequently includes variations of “macrophilia” / “microphilia”.
 
Fascinating, that means even giant ponies have an associated fetish!
