Fluttershy: “Lock them in the supply closet together?”
Rarity: “…I was going to say we make something spill on Sunset’s jacket to make her take it of but yours sounds like it’ll get results faster, and less risk to that fabulous outfit.”
It’s okay, I was just curious. Thank you for the thread and video.
Here’s the thread I was talking about. It’s OP has a video.
Oh God dammit, I was just about to come on here and apologize for exaggeration. My anger came from his complete dismissal of mars colonization (which mostly seemed to be in service of his rivalry with Elon Musk) as well as people who do spout the opinions I attributed to Neil using this to back their arguments. The fact that they felt confident in using Neil made me falsely attribute this views upon him as well.
However, when I went to double check… While I find his dismissiveness of colonization aggravating, he in no ways is against Space Exploration, and I apologize for letting my emotions get away from me.
I was kinda hoping to post this apology before someone called me out, so that no one would doubt the sincerity of my retraction, but them the brakes.
I keep searching through the internet and cannot find any instance of Neil being against the idea of continued space exploration other than wishing it were not a private focused endeavor. Considering Neil’s character and all the time he’s spent talking about getting more funding for NASA, I would really like a source for your statements.
@Background Human
Are you sure you have enough SunLight? (also, sure, pony versions would be fun)
Especially if, as is becoming more and more apparent, humans are First Ones. 5 billion years is a drop in the bucket when it comes to us setting up the universe for the rise of sapient life.
Of course, that’s thinking way into the future. Pretty sure Neil’s one of those “all money spent on space should be spent on fixing Earth” types.
The Sun’s gonna go boom in 5 billion years, he’d better damn hope he’s wrong.
