That’s what I was assuming. Only all of the adults like the Princesses were stuck in cocoons. Flurry Heart was kept elsewhere until after things were resolved, then returned to her parents, despite their appearances with being drenched in slime from their shredded cocoons.

And black swiss cheese was so great? Lol I see an awful lot of hate towards the new designs but not many arguments about why the old ones were that great. Sounds like a lot of rose-tinted glasses to me.

They have no idea what happened to them within the last few hours, if not day or two, that led to them waking up in the ruins of the Changeling Hive once their cocoons fell and burst open.
 
Also, while their manes and tails remained in their normal appearance while suspended in the cocoons, once they were ruptured and all the fluid inside spilled out, there’s the result of your mane and tail soaking up so much of that slime, resulting in it being all waterlogged and ragged at the ends.
 
Flurry Heart looks just like Luna. That being one of the few who don’t have any leftover slime on them.
