I thought Season 6 was fine. However, everyone else hated it, which makes me think it was bad from an objective POV.

I’ve never heard anyone say that season 6 is the “worst” save from /mlp/. Season 7 has also had a lot of great episodes so far, not just The Perfect Pear.

The general consensus is that Season 6 is the absolute worst season of the show. Season 7 had a lot of the same problems, and episodes like The Perfect Pear are the only things that prevent it from falling to the same level.

Anyone on staff who banned someone for something that tame, especially given the rest of this thread, would have a hard time explaining themselves before The Watchers, not to mention the Secret Cabal, who I dare not mention.

Also keep in mind, outside of the story editors, none of the writers are employees of Hasbro. They all freelance, so they’re up for grabs.

Alright, if the writers DID leave on their own accord, and weren’t thrown out by Hasbro, then how come…
 
1: They all left so rapidly after Season 5, and again after Season 6? I don’t remember so many writers leaving at once after the previous seasons.
 
2: They clearly didn’t enjoy leaving the show? You expect me to believe they felt relieved to be working on other projects, but Amy Keating Rogers was clearly sad about it, hence why she wrote “Equestria My Home” (or whatever that song was called) as a dedication.
 
The above two points make me think Hasbro deliberately forced them to leave for whatever reason. (Point 1 could also be explained by them hating the show and not wanting to work on it anymore.)

All that says is he has worked with writers like that at some point in his life. Nowhere does it say what show it was for.

By watching the show, do you mean watching it in it’s entirety from Seasons 1-6 or Study the characters get their key elements on what makes them work, watch and study several important episodes, and move on from there. Cause i highly doubt people have that much time on their hands to do the former.
