Correction: She didn’t TRY to destroy the multiverse because of what happened with her friend. Everything that happened in the Season 5 finale was just her trying to break up the M6’s friendship as revenge for them “dethroning” her in Our Town.

no because you gotta have conflict and drama otherwise you don’t have a good story
I mean look you don’t have to treat her like she’s the messiah, I mean just be like “oh Trixie” and give her a few amused side-eye glances once in a while when she starts getting a bit braggy
If I were to write this comic myself, I’d have Rarity welcoming Trixie’s company with open hooves.

Besides, it’s not like the Mane Six are squeaky clean.
If you ignore the comics, nobody held anything against Trixie in To Where And Back Again, aside from Twilight being annoyed at not going with Starlight and Discord being a bit of a dick.
So yeah, this being dredged up in the comics is rather dumb.

Eh, Discord and Starlight have done worse. I think that the Mane 6, masters of diplomacy that they are, should be able to talk this stuff over once in a while.
