For those of you who don’t get the joke, this is a parody of a 4chan prank to get “Bieliebers”, mostly tween girls, to shave their heads, after Justin was supposedly diagnosed with leukemia. Despite a lot of effort being put into the prank(from a fake Entertainment Weekly Twitter screenshot to a website baldforbieber.com to edited videos and photoshopped pics to even a fairly good forgery of a doctor’s report), the prank failed quickly. It didn’t help that many people who were in on the joke often tweeted “LOLZ EPIC TROLLING 4CHAN XD”.
