I guess it depends on what culture you grew up in. To me “Ponytaur” or “horse-tar” refers to an Anthro upper body, otherwise a human upper body would be “centaur”. It really depends on where you are from I guess. “Ponytaur” seems to stuck to this fandom, in this case.

I do too! I even made a tag for it – “anthro centaur.” It didn’t catch on, though.
 
I thought a tag already existed – Ponytaur – but that doesn’t refer specifically to centaurs with “anthro” upper bodies. It just means a pony lower body.
