Thank you for your thoughtful response. Don’t sell yourself short - being able to talk things out, and being able to look at yourself objectively, are two of the primary requirements for volunteering on the site. And any power that you would ever wield as a volunteer has five other pairs of hands on it - virtually everything staff does has to be proposed and then approved by a quorum of staff that are on duty. And even if someone did act independently it would get noticed and brought up for review almost immediately.
 
So, next time there’s an open slot, put your name in.

I can understand. I’m sorry for how I acted; to say I’ve been unstable is an understatement, but taking it out on others is inexcusable.
 
Honestly, it’s one of the umpteen reasons why I haven’t sent in a request to be an assistant or a moderator; before wielding power, one should have the capacity to know themselves, ‘else risk letting the power wield them.
 
To say I don’t trust myself is a bigger understatement than saying “Derpibooru has pony-pictures.”

The individuals involved in the comment that you are so weirdly triggered about asked that we delete it. Staff reviewed the request and agreed. The rest of the comments that were deleted were you and another individual sharing the very information that we were asked to delete. Whether you think it should have been deleted or not doesn’t matter - it’s none of your business. That is the call of the individuals involved in the original comment - not yours.
 
 
If you want the privilege of reviewing what requests staff complies with and which are declined, then apply for and earn a position on staff and you’ll get to be one voice out of ten voting on most requests like the rest of us. Until then, pic related.
