draw a cross on your head sphere, out of two ellipses around the diameter of the sphere (not a small circle )
it will help you see where the pony is looking, which helps decide where to draw the snout.
like this:
your current filter.the dingie thing is a heel, and the lower leg is a foot
also the neck makes an S, like a graceful swan
