Really not that fond of that story. The trickster that could fool entire towns had not a clue on how to get out of the situation, and nobody else than RD came out with the right plan? In the actual show RD’s plans NEVER work. She has many qualities, but she is not exactly a strategist.
That issue was only a means to show a flawless RD savig an inept Trixie.
Ugh. I still hate every time Bon bon is called sweetie drops >.<
Had to make room for more important character books. Like the Lyra / Bon Bon one.

They can admit character fault without putting a character 100% in the wrong. The Trixie/rainbow dash FF for example was GREAT, showing trixie to be a likeable character who’s actions weren’t malicious and gets help to get out of the situation, while in turn also giving help to make the situation work.
Yes it was this one, it was originally called The Trouble With Trixie and they changed it to this title.

It’s not even that it’s not a solo book, it’s that it’s almost certainly going to be “Trixie fucks up, day is saved by others”.
It could have been an adventure with others or slice of life or whatever, but that can’t happen; gotta reinforce that Trixie’s a good for nothing street urchin and will always be so, while Twilight, born into riches, nobility, and freakish powers, and now royalty and a god, will save the world, again.
I’m saying that its impractical to expect Trixie to get a full solo book when even the mane characters of the show didn’t get fully solo books.

Even starlight didn’t get her own solo book. Heck, Pinkie shared hers with her family.

A pragmatic Celestia would have sealed her in a magical bubble and used her body as a magical bullet for any super villain that showed up with her crystal touch :p
Also, Midas Story, but with CRYSTALS!
So I guess just taking off the likely cursed cape is out of the question?
