I don’t care about the personaliy. Any character can be spunky or intelligent regardess of bust size. However, I do find flatchested, or small-busted characters very cute.
I tend to enjoy the small-busted ladies more, myself. They’re generally spunkier and more intelligent. A perfect example of that is Lina Inverse. Maybe a bit too spunky, verging on insane, but there you go. And you know me, I love my redheads.
But in anime, you also have these huge breasted ones too.
I heard one once saying that; animes starts off with a full range of breasts sizes for the main cast. But all new members often has oversized breasts. After time goes by; the main cast will just be filled with those oversized breasts.
I’ve barely watched anime; so I can’t tell myself.

Actually, both extremes are quite popular.
I know this is a broad generalization, but.
In Japanese anime, there seems to be a preference towards plank chests. Meanwhile western fetish artists seem to largely favour oversized breasts.
I’m more of a moderate. As there needs to be breasts, but not too big.

Well, not sure what the general interest is in Sweden. That would be interesting to know.
I have found in my experience that Japanese artists are far more willing to draw small-breasted characters, possibly because Japanese women in general are very small-chested, and cultural beauty standards are a bit different over there. American and especially Brazilian artists (Fernando Faria is a good example) often emphasize the bust and hips because that’s what we find beautiful.

Exactly. However, there’s just too many who likes unnaturally large breasts … and artists who prefer drawing that (self interest, or larger audience). So there’s no small/flatchested art for us who prefer that.
It’s so damn hard to find a small breasted Fluttershy.
