I get people not liking the G3 [2012] toys, but they made it worse giving us the 2018 GARBAGE, if not saying something worse. THE 2018 ONE HAS EVEN WORSE TOYS AND SHOW! AT LEAST THE 2012 ONE HAD “okay/meh” TOYS AND A FREAKING LEGENDARY SHOW, pd: good taste, flutter. You’re totally right

My Take  
Pre-2012- I don’t care about.
 
2012 LPS- wasn’t as good as MLP, but it was still a pretty good show
 
2018 version- Looks decent

THere was actually an even OLDER, not as well known LPS syndicated series from the mid-90s from C&D and Sunbow; that’s the one with Stu the large dog, Chloe the sassy cat, Vivian the musically talented rabbit, Squeeks the monkey and Chet the horse…not to mention a military minded hamster in love with a tall female hamster.
