Zebrows/Cowbas are fused symbiotic creatures living across the lands the of Equestira. 
Zebras and Cows use magic to became Zebrows/Cowbas, It’s led to a population of Zebrows/Cowbas.
 
Zerbows/Cowbas are the result of a Zebra and a Cow decide to become one(It’s kind like when a Slowpoke needs a Shellder to becomes a slowbro!)
 
 
Zebrows/Cowbas have existed since before alicorns first walked Equestira.
 
They are ancient ponies art of Zebrows/Cowbas and even in old stories told by zebras.
 
The story of How’s Zebrows/Cowbas came to be was.
 
There was a small tribe of zebras and a small village of cows.
 
They both faces the same 
enemies like Hydras,Chimeras and Manticores.
 
The Zebras came up with a plan with the cows, The pan was to merge themselves together.
 
While sharing the same body, They keep each other safe and keep a looking out for any of there’s enemies.
 
They are two kind of Zebrows/Cowbas, They are newly merger Zebrows/Cowbas and natural born Zebrows/Cowbas. 
There no difference between the two because natural born Zebrows/Cowbas are descended from newly merger Zebrows/Cowbas
 
Zebrows/Cowbas are so scarce these days. Years ago the land that had both Zebras and Cows in it split due to a natural disaster (or Discord). Zebra happended to be one the mainland and Zebras turned out to be on the land that split off. This resulted in Zebras winding up on a completely different land while Cows migrating in herds around the land at first looking for Zebras but through out generations Zebrows/Cowbas soon became stuff of legends.
 
before the split Zebrow/Cowba formations work sorta like weddings do. Each pair is either well thought out like a relationship would or arranged amoung leaders.
 
But now a dormant instinct takes over and they fuse to any cow/zebra they can find.
 
Zerbows/Cowbas are two species that become one new species( Pokémon logic)
