Sunset Shimmer was rather a weak villain with unlikeable demonic dessign to me (I still miss more backstory for her -how she ever became mean and get to know her family and their relationships towards her, so I can better understand her mean personality since her fillihood). And yes, I’ve read “The Fall of Sunset Shimmer”, but it didn’t answer these important questions to me. I expected a backstory of the type “nice pony that became bad for some reason”. But she was never portrayed as “nice” before, despite being just a regular pony, so that’s my main problem.
 
The Dazzlings truly were a great villains (though I love Aria only, to be honest), I loved to watch their relationships and listen to their songs. Their defeat and escape raised a few questions to me. I miss them.
 
Midnight Sparkle was a powerful villain (I’d say the one with the most dangerous and deadly powers and despite the person who transformed to her wasn’t evil at all, MS was really evil in my eyes) with a cool dessign and she might be one of my favorite villains for being a demonic side of one of Mane 6.
 
Gaea Everfree was best in my opinion and my favorite out of the four. I love how she actually didn’t have an evil or selfish plan unlike the three, despite doing evil things and being extremely powerful (MS didn’t have a villaionous plan neither, but she did evil things mostly from selfish reason). Gaea was only desperate and depressed, not literally evil (according to the person who transformed to her in this case, just more extreme) and thought she was just helping, so I don’t count her as a “true” evil villain. Therefore she’s very likeable character in general to me.
