Another awesome plot would be something like right in episode one Chrysalis replaces someone either inside mane6 or close to them that we have no idea of and that gets revealed on the season finale when she executes the master plan and we get like daaaamn
 
I even think of the possibility her revenge might be the main plot of this Guardians of Harmony film since it’ll be a PONY film not a my little human one, why not right? if anything this really opened the possibility to a great set of episodes.
 
Also isn’t it funny she makes the most “rough” “extreme” with blood in the eyes threat against Starlight and the others and before runaway and everyone literally just go like “hey lets party!” Damn ponies party too much.

That would be a really good plot arc with lots of potential variations. There could even be more than one new pony, including a love interest meant to be the prime suspect both to us and Glimmer, the lack of trust forming a temporary rift between friends or them depending on who they’re the love interest of, and after finally gaining that trust either the twist is it was an elaborate long con, or it really wasn’t the obvious choice, the true Queen in disguise being somepony only a minority of paranoid bronies suspected from clues that only make sense to the rest of us in hindsight.  
And that’s just a small sample of ideas.

Any new introducing pony in season 7 I’ll automatically assume its Chrysalis in disguise infiltrating the group.
