It is a ponified Sailor Moon. Still means nothing. The outfit isn’t trademarkable.
 
Gameloft is not the first nor last game company to do a Sailor Moon parody/homage. Blizzard did one for LiMing in Heroes of the Storm called the “Star Princess” skin. Even did three variants on the color. One looks like Sailor Moon, one looks like Sailor Jupiter. The last looks like a mix of character colors.
 

 
Unless a company uses something that’s trademarked or copyrighted, they can’t get in trouble.

Sailor Moon’s outfit is legitimately unable to be legally distinct: Schoolgirl’s uniform, non-descript tiara, other accessories. :T

There are no trademarked names used. “Sailor Moon” is never mentioned. The outfit is not trademarked, and the whole thing falls under parody anyway.

While I love this game spending that much gems (and the money you need to get those gems) just to get one pony is too much for me

What if I just bought a Sailor Moon costume and wore that?

Is that me or does the description of that Sailor moon pony looks like a part of the Green Lanterns’ Oath ?

For every single Sailor Moon fan who’s also a brony, this is worth it.
