Uh, Shining Armor is in the one behind Celestia on the left.
 
Who said anything about Shining Armor? Anyways, now that you mention it… nope, not seeing him. You could maybe, maybe stretch that the strand-like thing on the top left is his tail mane,but why would it be so high up? Anyways, I’m with Frogster. I’m pretty sure it’s a velociraptor claw.
 
Unless there is future evidence in later scenes that allowed you to come to that conclusion. As it stands, it seems you’re just making finicky assumptions with little indication of what you claim. It’s possible the two pods do contain Flurry and Shining Armor, but there is nothing here that allows us to know.

I’m just print screening and pasting them into paint.
I can see something behind them (right under Chrissy’s lower leg) It looks like a long squiggly thing. Maybe Discord’s lumpy horn? Not sure. The first frame I was using originally had even less detail since Tia’s and Luna’s cocoons are closer together.

Now that I take another look, it does look like Discord as I can see part of his body as well. Guess it would make sense to have the Master of Chaos hung up with the other most powerful characters in the Royal Family, rather than being separate from them.

Which is funny because we had a villain who met that criteria already, Sombra. But they switched the traits from him and put them on Chrysalis and then they woobied Sombra.
 
Honestly this finale felt like it was written by IDW, It’s resemblance to siege was uncanny. I mean think about it a group of non main characters goes on a mission to do something disruptive while the actual main characters are captured, there’s a special snowflake character who we have only seen twice in total, and instead of chrysalis getting changed through a magic ass pull it was the majority of her race and it was the special snowflake that causes it.
 
Oh my god the new writers are actually IDW it all makes sense now.
