During the whole episode I was scared they were gonna reform her. This moment was such a big relief.

Queen Chrysalis is overwhelmed by tyranny after her first defeat back in Season 2, and she wanted power and have her changelings to obey her every command. Starlight Glimmer was trying to tell her that there is another way. The queen doesn’t see that.

Considering that she turned her entire species, who also happened to be her children, in mooselings, I’m not surprised shes pissed at starlight

This is evident due do the direction their hair is flowing in the wind.

I am also really glad that Chrysalis is still an evil.  
Honestly through out the episode I was thinking “If nothing else, it needs to end with at least Queen Chrysalis still evil”.
 
So, do y’all think she’ll be able to amass more changelings for underlings or do y’all think she’ll have to figure out how to fly solo?

Well if you want my theory, her pride is the only thing keeping her from just accepting the new status quo. She’s gonna have to learn to let go of it. Maybe after another couple attempts at revenge, perhaps? For now, she REALLY needs some time alone.

Kinda glad the writers didn’t redeem her.. yet. I would love to see her return at some point.
