This is really pretty.

Allow me to express my opinion about the character:  
And let’s start with the positives…  
I do like the whole “Mystical creature” theme going on with this design.  
I do like the additions and shape changes, such as the horns etc.  
But, this is unfortunately where the positives end.  
What is this, a changeling (that’s soon to be a king) or freaking puke colors bambi?  
Not to mention, orange and green always reminded me of carrots, and though technically the colors do work together pretty well, i can’t say the same in this case.  
And glitter… seriously… glitter on a changeling…  
To wrap this up, this design does not resemble a changeling in the slightest, and should’ve never been used as a replacement (or ascendance) for one. It just doesn’t fit, and we can only hope that he at least won’t appear often in the next seasons, because we can be sure of one thing: Hasbro will not change this.

Not certain, but I don’t think anyone hates the character, they hate the new look. They can’t hate the character, anyway. Nothing is known about his new role. That’d be like hating on the newly introduced forms and charac… No, never mind. I was about to refer to Magical Mystery Cure and Equestria Girls. XD

Just because they based it off a real-life insect doesn’t magically make the colours look nice to me. If they had some way to pull off the metallic sheen I might have enjoyed them a little more, but as it stands they just clash in a really unpleasant manner.

King Thorax’s design, combined with the background scenery, reminds me of the Great Prince of the Forest from Disney’s Bambi.

The design is awesome, the colours are blergh.

Beetles are awesome looking. They can be downright absurd looking too in terms of colors.

Ah. Well, I usually expect most artists to post their stuff (on their own profiles, not always here) as soon as they feel it’s finished. Not every individual appears to care how another individual is affected by art which contains spoilers. Assuming this, nearly all Tinypop viewers have already had their art uploaded to a number of sites, DF viewers are currently working as I type.
 
Ooh, but digital downloaders wait one day before starting a drawing. Of course, I’d suspect their are very few individuals who watch the show exclusively via download– or even via legal download. Yar har fiddle dee dee. X3
