Meh, they can try to claim it all they want, and you're right that I can't physically stop them from doing so, but that doesn't make it remotely true, and they shouldn't be surprised when they receive a reality check, because if you're trying to claim a ship as canon, you're trying to claim it's a fact, and that's not gonna fly. Shipping something and claiming it's somehow canon are NOT the same thing, as you need some damn expsolicitd proof for the latter. And that Iron Will comic had no shipping or anything like that in it, maybe you interpreted something in it as a tease due to your shipping-goggles filtered perspective, but it didn't in anything more than your very personal, very subjective interpretation at most. Neither will this one, there's no shipping, and there are no ship-teases. It's all been just friendship, thus far that's been the case for every single issue in regards to the characters they are focusing on. We can wait for the comic, sure, but that won't be changing here.

And mind you, at no point have I suggested that people stop shipping it, or that there's something wrong with someones ship, just that they stop trying to insist that shipping is present in content where it clearly isn't. By all means, if you like a ship, ship it all you want, I fully support your right to do that, but it's not canon (comics aren't canon anyway, mind you, but still), and I'm absolutely going to argue against any absurd claims people make about there being shipping in content when it's simply just not there. Though, to be fair, I usually just ignore people who do that sort of thing. If I got into an argument over this kind of stuff every time I saw it, I'd be completely exhausted, considering how long they can drag on, as seen here.
