Guess that makes that remark (which was apparently made years before that comic was made) hilarious in hindsight. (Guess I shouldn’t be surprised, seeing as Warner Bros. owns DC Comics.)
Mark Evanier who wrote that also wrote for “Garfield & Friends,” and many other things, I recall.

Y’know, ex-writer of the Sonic comic, Ken Penders actually pitched a crossover to the guy writing Flash for DC.
He turned Ken & the idea down stating he’d rather see Superman cross over with Bugs Bunny first.
