They didn’t launch EqG like this and that was way more controversial. This is inexplicable and dumb, and borderline lazy. The original announcement was “a new series of comic books from IDW debuts this fall,” by the way. A series, not one. I wonder how IDW got out of that.
It’s still very new, the toys have barely begun to hit shelves. Gotta test the waters first.
