I was gonna be best buds with Kouji Wada, y’know.
hey shut up I was going to confess my undying love to robin williams any day now.
Damn dude your deep
But no I wasn’t all crying and broken up or anything but yes I’ve been a soundgarden fan since I was like 17 and back then audioslave was just coming out why I can remember when cocheese(or however you spell it)was brand new so yes been a fan for a long time
Mourning a celebrity’s death as though it personally effected you?
Something about that just doesn’t sit quite right to me…
It’s like, people die all the time, many of them in terrible, terrible ways, in terrible places, to terrible people, but genocide and hellish tyrannical regimes in North Korea and Syria don’t bother you deeply, but some musician who chose to take his own life does?
I mean, you should mourn when someone close to you dies… But he wasn’t. He didn’t know who any of us are… I mean, I guess if you’re a big fan of his music that might make sense, but the whole Hollywood idol thing has always bothered me. His life didn’t have more value than the lives of all the innocent people dying to terrible things we could easily prevent across the globe.
Edited
Oh no I didn’t thx fir pointing that out
I’m shocked I haven’t gotten to be like this since Chris Cornell died :(
And did you see the carpet under? Some tears already dropped. Nice detail touch.
well yeah, hormones are the worst kind of mind screw. puberty sucks! but at least you can struggle against them.
This is probably why most productions (other mediums, like tv and movies) have writers and artists separate :p
Also stuff like that exists… It’s called hormones/pharamones. It would’ve been really interesting to see it depicted like that: it’d create a tremendous inner struggle that they can fight against, though very difficult.

it was pretty ridiculous. at first it was like, “okay, free hot spring? not suspicious at all. go to sleep, wake up evil,” but that was just the beginning. by the end of it, it was like “if you step in a puddle while running away, bam you’re evil now.” princess luna went nightmare moon after getting hit with a water balloon.
it’s the worst kind of mind screw too, where you have full control of your actions, but it makes you want to be evil.
then they used the common knowledge that everypony knows that dragons cannot be corrupted or evil, to brew an antidote from spike’s scales, because spike has never become corrupted or evil before.
I wish tony fleecs would get writers that aren’t complete morons, and kind of disturbingly sociopathic to boot. he’s such a good artist. him and andy price. beautiful, loving depictions of horrifyingly bad plots.
OP Mindscrew is OP. Not even a chance to roll a will save? Sheesh.
The comics seem to have some writers who really don’t believe in free will…
well, a thing that did happen is the main 6 all learned that the slightest touch of water can effortlessly remove everything good about them, making them enjoy ruining the people they love, and everything they care about. they cured its effect, and cleansed the upwelling, but they could do nothing to resist its effect. if any of that tainted water ever exists again, or is created, it could happen again, whether they know about it or not. every time they bathe, or swim, or drink, it could happen, and they will never be safe.
but I didn’t buy the comic, so maybe I missed the ritual with the rubber chickens that makes them immune to the water’s effects
Well, that’s quite a… Thing. Not quite what happened in the comic, but yeah, what you described is certainly crying-over-worthy.
Holy crap
Now try to imagine somepony who is so used to main characters being not-perfect, but good overall. But then he learns of a story about them, where they become evil. Some can get really depressed about it. Other-dimension-counterparts being evil? That is okay. Actual characters, from “prime universe”? That can cause some knife cuts to somepony. And that is from the covers and basic premise alone. I know it should end well, but still.
Now imagine that this is some fanfic and Light Blade somehow came across this book, which would be kind of cursed and send him through that nightmare which feels like a real thing. And because he is a very good friend of Twilight and the rest of the gang, it pressed some psychological buttons for him. It would really hurt to see somepony he cares about going bad, doing bad things. Plus, the most painfully hard deed of deciding to put them down if this is what has to be done.
The summary doesn’t make it sound like it or the events within it are so terrible as to be crying-over-worthy.
