Thank you very much! Actually, things are you have noticed are too advanced too me, and chalk is too tricky for me to get line or shade I want. I never thought about negative space before. But anyway, this negative space note have helped me now in other new picture.
I have looked your paintings, I REALLY LOVE your colors! They are awesome!
I love the variety of mark through use of side rendering in addition to sharp expressive line.
Excellent use of figure ground relationship by taking into consideration the negative space. The ‘void’ of the chalkboard surface is just as vital to the form and content of the chalk marks. The stark marks are quite restrained, almost like mere highlights among a sea of black. Almost Chiaroscuro-like treatment.
