okay joking aside, it is very nice to see fanart of medieval equestrians dressed like how medieval warhorses would’ve been outfitted. As opposed to just putting the ponies in human-like clothing and armour.

Yeah, Fluttershy would be under the table at first. But as soon as she sees one of her friends get hurt, she’d either scold all the henchman into making them apologize, or possibly slaughter them all when she goes into “New Fluttershy” or “YOU’RE GOING TO LOVE ME!!!” mode.

Exactly my thoughts. If this wasn’t already a written fanfic, I’d say they have just enough henchmen there to take on Rainbow Dash by herself.
 
Pinkie would be a lot of squirming, wriggling, food-flinging trouble.
 
Twilight would probably take the entire castle down if they even mentioned harming Fluttershy.

Rarity’s skills lie within the area of precision, paired with her implied fighting skills and she’s possibly the most dangerous of the six in a fight. You don’t have to be strong to kill or maim someone.
 
Twilight, once she gets going, could probably blow the whole castle up.
 
Rainbow Dash is the lightning berserker, a ridiculously durable pegasus that happens to be the fastest pegasus alive.
 
Applejack is tough as nails, and has ridiculously high stamina. They’ll be fighting her for a very long time.
 
Pinkie, well, I got nothing.
 
Fluttershy is under the table.

With Rarity, it’s at least justified since she’s a physical fighter, but most people tend to forget just how competent she is at it.
 
Not so justifiable for Twilight, though. She could be caught off guard, but once she has a chance to react, she can wreck stuff pretty bad, even with the limitations she’s shown.
 
I’m going to be generous and assume that this is before the fight gets serious.
