Well, personally, I enjoyed the ep because when the show first introduced him, I immediately identified his annoying traits as a parody of the more extreme aspects of the fandom. So I was able to see a lot of his more ridiculous responses as silly hyperbole rather than just straight-up annoying.
 
Although I can definitely see where you’re coming from. I remember when I first saw that ep with Zephyr Breeze in it, I absolutely couldn’t stand him. The way he was presented just hit all the wrong buttons in my mind, and made him feel like some painful caricature. So even when the third act rolled around, and I saw what the root issue his character was having (and how it absolutely conflicted with a lot of what I’d thought I knew about him), I was just too annoyed to care.

This has got to be the best Quibble impersonation I’ve seen so far

This episode was utterly abysmal and painful to watch, and this was just one of the many reasons. Especially the way Quibble was like “It’s just a pillow no big deal” and then proceeded to be a giant unlikable asshole the entire rest of the episode, as the worst elements of the brony fandom all wrapped up into one little neat I-wish-I-could-murder-his-face package.
