Right, yeah, just… getting around the teeth and split-jaw thing. Only other time I saw that was Silent Hill, and those dogs definitely have it out for you.
Relax. Just bop ’em on the nose with a newspaper or use a spray-bottle. They tend to be overly affectionate so you just have to remind them on occasion that not everyone likes that.

Oh. Well, guess that’s a mistake on my part, never studied the Tatzls before. It’d still be kinda odd to get eaten as a gesture of friendliness, but… different cultures and different customs, I guess.

yeah, tatzlpones just cough you back up later, kinda wet but otherwise fine.
They’re very friendly creatures, they’d never hurt you! at least not on purpose. they can get a little overenthusiastic with their friendliness at times…
But you don’t die from tatzl’s eating you, it’s how they examine things and people it’s like a hug they let you back out.

You’d guess right! Being eaten is pretty far down my list of ways to die, below acid bath and entering a Mortal Kombat tournament.
Next you’re going to tell me you wouldn’t even want to be eaten by one.

Well… I dunno, would you like it if a pony smiled by literally splitting its jaw open and showing off all its fangs to you? I know I’d be pretty spooked.

I think it just seems unsettling to some people. Personally I think it’s a little weird without the split jaw.
Why’s everybody gotta hate on the jaw? :(
I’m glad Rick left out the detail of their bottom jaw being able to split open. Makes them much less disturbing.
I’m sure the three rows of fangs are still there, though.
