Nah, it’s not. I was big into both as a kid, with Digimon slightly more so. {I left the anime once they changed the voice actors for the English dub… ugh. I miss the old ones.} However, I’ve recently tried to go back and watch them again. I’m an English dub kind of guy. Want to hear the show in my language….
While Digimon is awesome and it does get better, the first season was a little heavy on the non-sensical corny jokes.
That and in Pokemon, the humans took a more active role during battle and othertimes.
Oh that, forgot about it XO
Was replying to the angiwamon picture.
I’ve never had goat, but I can’t imagine it being too different from mutton.
But this guy ate goat!
It tasted like watered down chicken.
I’ve had the privilege of eating with his family. Real old school into lowriders and all that, you don’t wanna be on their bad side.
When I was done with Pokémon all my old toys went to his little sister.
I preferred Digimon as well. Pokemon just seemed kind of repetitive. Digimon at least had a story arc.
@Badheart
Oddly, at that age, that wasn’t a factor for me.
Brock reminds me of this cholo I’d hang with, he was like…twelve! Had a deep voice was crazy about girls and ate goat.
I’m 29 now and this was back when Dreamcast was out we was lookin’ at titties. So…do the math 😕
Brock was probably the thing I liked the most about pokemon back then.
When the show first started it had Misty. There’s Jessie from Team Rocket, Nurse Joy, Officer Jenny “hot”. It had girls so that helped a bit. Not to mention Brock who undoubtedly reeked of Axe. There was some adult aspects apart from hurting animals.
I was a Digimon fan myself and even had it on PS1, when I watched the newer episodes I was agonizingly bored.

@Badheart
Is it bad that I liked digimon more than pokemon. I watched pokemon as a kid but found pretty meh compared to digimon I also don’t get why pokemon is so popular I’ve never been a card player and I found the games boring the show especially nowadays is pretty mediocre.
Who could forget this?
digimon (one of the first attempts to cash in on the pokemon craze, and because of this it was actually a decent franchise) featured these creatures called digimon (short for digital monster) that could temporarily change into a significantly more powerful form through a process called “digivolution”. the show, at least the original, was set inside the internet, and came about during the nineties when people being sucked into computers was a common trope. digimon were supposedly sapient computer programs, and anyone whom ever saw one would then have a digimon companion of their own assigned to them.
the joke is that mega-evolution is very similar to the digimon franchise’s digivolution in its functionality.
Because adorable Twily will always come out on top. :3
I’m Liking this idea.
you can chill with your favorite pony ^^
Interact with them talk with them all that…
Will have to expand to fan-variants (Twivine as an evolution maybe?) then.
Personally I’d be all over this to catch me a whole hoard of Solly’s, Lyra’s, and Sweetie’s :3
There’s way less ponies than pokemon.
No
“Alright, who is the idiot who threw their entire phone?!”
“Is that a Ponyta or a Rapidash? …What are all these ponies…? That’s crazy.”

You only throw the phone after you run out of bullets. (I never did find out what movie started that. lol)
