Of course not. She doesn’t even have lungs. Elementals are by their nature constructed of the element they are made of and only that element. Earth elements are made of stone and dirt, Fire is made of fire, wood made of wood and so forth. Only fire would need air because of the nature of fire.

these tunnels bend double on themselves over and over  
i have night vision and even i can’t see in here  
but i’ve practiced being blind a lot  
i can sense my surroundings regardless

the darker it is the better you see  
i can imagine it though  
the towers of stone from erosion  
the crystal walls that bloom like flowers

in the 17th century in my world gangs used to hunt witches  
witches were like the medicine ponies you used to have  
the people at the time thought medicine was evil  
so they hunted and killed anyone they saw practicing it

after getting the witches to safety i used to go back into the caves to rescue our enemies

at first i went back out of curiosity  
i wanted to see them scared and stumbling in the dark  
i wanted to see the “bad guys” get their comeuppance  
but when i found them they were really scared  
they were cowering and running around in the dark crying for their families  
thinking they’d never see them again  
i couldn’t just leave them there  
for all the bad that was in them they were just scared little people  
fear makes people do strange things  
it can make a person hurt others without the bully really knowing what you are doing

i see why you brought me here now

this time it went a little far  
you were in real danger  
but maybe the bullying isn’t always the fault of the bully?

if they can’t help themselves  
maybe you should be better than that and do something different
