I remember I made a small story about this where the Gilda that hugged Fluttershy is actually from an alternate universe where she was friends with both Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy, but her Fluttershy got killed by the Big Bad. After being brought here into this dimension by the hero (You), this scene happens and the hero saw it all. The short story ends with the hero and Gilda having the basic conversation about how she won’t let this Fluttershy get killed by the Big Bad again.
