So it’s wrong that I think Sunset Shimmer should be the protagonist of the EQG series instead of Twilight, even though Sunset Shimmer is not in the main series at all, and Twilight is the protagonist of said main series. Right…
So it’s bad if Twilight is treated as the main character, but it’s good when Sunset Shimmer is. Got it.
I know right? And hey, a few of the fans (me included) did want more character development for the boys, and unfortunately for everyone else, it looks like we might be getting it. I mean, I certainly hope were getting it. Besides, the advertisements and merchandising are hardly ever show-accurate, so we’ll all just have to wait and see.

Ehh, I like Sunset though. I’m more on the issue of Twilight stealing the spotlight even when it’s not Equestrian Twilight in the EQG series now.

It’s the reason why I hope Sunset stays out of the show. She’s way too much of a spotlight hog.

Only Sunset and Twilight matter when it comes to Equestria Girls. The rest of them can easily be replaced with just about any background characters.

I have a feeling Sci will really be the main protagonist in that movie…

I’m assuming internal conflict is Twi’s plot, and external conflict is handled by Sunset.

Synopsis says she’s still important, and given Sci’s conflict in the movie, it sounds like a safe bet.
