This would make an interesting story.

So if a griffin is caught being friends with a pony they then become property of a pony.
Some ponies out there probably would. Ahuizotl managed to recruit a pony cult into destroying an innocent valley; who says there can’t be pony slavers?
Who would they sell her to griffin have no money and I don’t think ponies would like the idea.
