To be honest I enjoyed it as much as some FiM episodes. Starlight is really solid here and basically the lost “teacher and student” episode that should’ve happened in the show. A must read if you like Twilight and Starlight.

This seems pretty plausible. It’s probably Starlight making a discovery about a hidden room in the castle and keeping it a secret from Twilight, hence the title. Suspicions arise, but ultimately everything all works out.
I hope it’s similar to the Room of Requirement.

My guess is that it involves Starlight finding a room in Twilight’s castle that has all of Twilight’s books and belongings that were destroyed along with her treehouse. It will also likely have Spike once again pointing out that Starlight use to be a villain.
They’re a joke/exaggerated opinion not meant to be taken seriously. Two, I don’t spam them out. And three, I Stopped because I try to respect others. Not to mention I already apologized for it.
This is just a TINY bit hypocritical, isn’t it? Considering I’ve seen you going onto images of sunset shimmer just to post comments against her or expressing your hatred for her. Not hating, just pointing out the obvious.

How else do we explain a delay of a full year? January 2016 to January 2017. It would make sense.
veering towards swashbucklist territory there, manI dunno, does Hasbro really do that sort of thing? They’ve been pretty freakin’ clueless about timing toys and tie-ins to show before.…And by “before” I mean “forever”.
Or, you know, it was more important to push Lyra and Bon Bon while the Slice of Life iron was hot, them put efforts into this Starlight book and others.
Was she a show writer already when the Trixie book was first announced? I thought the initial solicit was so long ago that she wasn’t at DHX yet. Maybe the delay is because she showed them the draft and they decided to make an episode of it instead, and Hasbro launched it with the franchise flagship rather than a support vessel.
