Cat ponies probably don’t do this, but resemble what is described in the second paragraph of my second comment. Many cat ponies also seem to resemble cats, while ponecats appear to simply be smaller versions of the ponies. However, I should probably wait for an answer to my previous question before I “say” anything more about their behaviour.
We already have cat pony for crosses between ponies and cats.
And I don’t think he created a species. His ponies just resemble cats a
bitlot. If they are meant to be an actual cross between ponies and cats that’s what the cat pony tag is for.…k
Do they still have catlike tendencies? That is, if they’re not playing as a cat to humour themselves or others. If so,
ponecatcould still be its own tag from a technicality. Otherwise, I guessbehaving like a catwould only belong on some pictures, since the creatures would only sometimes behave as cats do. You could still have a tag for the species you created, though, and I guessponecatcould still fit if it were the name of the species, even though they have no connection to cats other than their size and that they sometimes voluntary act as cats do.>they have jobs

Nah. My ponecats can talk, have jobs, etcetera. She just can’t vocalize without dropping the apple slice she worked so hard to get.
They also occassionally allow their humans to spoil and pamper them.
Get those Jurassic Park scientists to work on unextincting the Eohippus!
