Keep in mind, yo. It’s never a waste of time so long as you enjoyed yourself.
If you had fun, it was worth it. That’s just true.
It’s a show. Such a simple, small thing. But so long as you had fun with it, it was worth it.
Never think otherwise.
I’m more worried about the opposite, feeling that I wasted my time and such.
Sure, our ponies aren’t real, but we still got to enjoy them, didn’t we? We enjoyed them together. We shared laughs, we shared feels; we made the best with the brief time that we were given.
And it was good.
We had our waifus. We had our husbandos. We had so much more than we probably deserved.
And again… it was good. Right now, in the here where we are, it still is good.
Take some solace in that, Anon. The ride hasn’t ended yet. It’s still going and it’ll keep going as long as we continue to grant the ride momentum. Even when the show ends and the theme song quiets, it’ll still be up to us. We can keep it going for as long as we want it to.
The ride never really ends, right? And that’s the first time I typed that out in a way that wasn’t meant to be funny or ironic.
The ride… it never really ends. Keep it going, old Anon. I know you can do it. I’ll be you one day, old and bent. But what I promise is that I’ll continue posting. I’ll keep loving this shit.
You do the same, Anon. I know you’re angry and hateful. I know you’re upset that every canon one day comes to a close. But still, stand strong and face it. Write fanfiction. Watch videos. Be the fan that you know you are.
Just don’t give up.
Because the ride. Never. Ends.
Edited because: I got kind of emotional
