Let me guess, their parents met for the first time, and conceived their first foal, at Cloudstock. Dad was badgered into taking responsibility instead of just railing against the system, got a job, bought a house, raised their kids, lost all the passion that made him attractive to his wife, forgot all about fighting the man, now votes for milquetoast social liberal politicians, had a nostalgic phase during the late 80’s/early 90’s, embraced his middle class status, then got a vasectomy to maintain his perfectly avarage 2.3 child family and ended up no different from his own Equestrian Magical Family household and parents he spent his teenage years rebelling against.
 
And I haven’t even talked about his midlife crisis.

I would think having rainbow wallpaper next to an area that already has natural rainbows would be redundant, but other than that I love how cozy their house looks :D

I couldn’t find a gif of the scene in question, but I’ll probably always associate that style of clock with “Family Dog”.

The animal-shaped ornaments and the bonsai tree are a nice touch. Perhaps either gifts from Fluttershy or maybe something their parents do?

With that flying mansion RD lives in, I would say her parents are much richer.
