I totally want to hear how Muad met boulder

But then I met Boulder, when I was walking by the creak near the farm. Never before or since have I see such a perfectly carved pebble, with all the smoothness of a pony sculpture, but crafted by nature itself! Of course I took it home with me, and slowly but surely, Boulder became my friend. He became who I talked to, who I shared with, and it made me feel better. Granted, I know he isn’t alive. He can’t hear me. He can’t do anything. But it’s like talking to a pet dog or cat: You know they don’t understand most of what you say, and sometimes they don’t even respond - but they’re there. They’re something to talk to. And that’s how I treated Boulder. Still do, all these years. My wife thinks I’m silly, but I owe a lot to this little, silent pebble.
