Fully rigid bone could definitely do what it did in the Rarity example if it’s not attached directly to the skull, and the Twilight example involved Discord, disqualifying it as a reliable example.
80 years later
We’ve also seen them wobbly when Sweetie Belle flicks Rarity’s horn and when Discord’s petting Twilight Sparkle, actually. Fully rigid bone wouldn’t do that.
We’ve only ever seen them bend after touching Poison Joke or in contact with Discord (where all rules are mutable).
We’ve also seen that they’re very hard, like when Party Favor damaged a door with his horn.
That joke’s already been made
