Description

It’s been months since Ember and Spike have seen each other after the events of Gauntlet of Fire, so it’s come to no surprise that Spike decided to visit Ember. Little did Ember know, Spike had a growth spurt (not from greed) during the past few weeks. Let’s just say Ember “appreciated” Spike’s new look.
 
Artist’s Note: When I was making this I honestly expected Spike to be much taller than Ember. Serves me right to miscalculate the scales on Source Filmmaker.

I still think that wings being the equivalent of “spike growing facial hair” (IE: puberty) is fairly silly.
 
Still I’ll commend work that’s been done.
