Well, you see, IMHO, self-insert characters should never be used under any circumstances. Ergo, I have never self-inserted. I’m many things; Evil, obsessive, gluttonous, greedy, lazy, easily angered, proud of everything I am, jealous of anyone who can write better than me (read: everyone), so cold-hearted that on hot days I have to stay inside, but I am NOT a hypocrite.
