Dedicated to Lauren Faust.  
It’s been five, count’em, five years since I first found the “Twilight Sparkle and a bunch of other friends” show.  
May 13th, 2011.
 
But of course the full effect of it didn’t come until about a year after, when I realised bronies were a thing, and my art got attention.  
Still, I deeply appreciate everyone of you and what I’ve become in that sense, because I would not be here without it.

    No time to waste, girls! Let’s go!
     
  • There you are, girls! Moondancer is having a little get-together, you wanna come?  
  • Oh, sorry, girls…we’re busy doing, uh…

  • I wanted to say studying, but thanks anyway.  
  • Sheesh, are those ponies not interested in making friends at all? Apart from each other, I mean.
     
  • cough My dearest teacher…

  • My dearest Twilight etc., there is more to a young pony’s life than only hanging out with their own clique, so I’m sending you to supervise the preparations for the Summer Sun Celebration in Ponyville. And, I have an even more essential task for you to complete: make some NEW friends!  
  • gasp Can you do that? Be friendly to ponies outside your immediate comfort zone?  
  • Look on the bright side, everypony. The Princess arranged for you to stay in a library. Doesn’t that make you happy?  
  • Yes.  
    (5 voices): -No!
     
  • Well I guess this day was a colossal failure. We did manage to take down Nightmare Moon but we ended up relying on each other again.  
  • Yes, and because of that I’m shipping you all back to Canterlot. All except Pinkie Pie.  
  • Zuh?  
  • Congratulations my pink student, you proved that you can go beyond my expectations by making friends with every pony in Ponyville. I expect you to write to me about them every day. (to the others) What, you didn’t know? Pinkie Pie’s been the protagonist all along.
