Eh, not exactly. The point of a critic or review is to take the bullet for others or give another view on things. If you find a few good ones who are willing to be critical about the stuff they love but match your opinion, it can be fun to read their things.
Besides, at this show’s worst it’s still often better than about 90% of the stuff on TV, and even its worst animation errors tend to be eclipsed by those from the past. To give a quick example of said mistake from another series I personally loved -
@Ihhh
Just like I can’t see how it didn’t bore you. Boredom is simply a reaction. Another matter of opinion. What bores some people doesn’t bore others. People like us tend to enjoy watching MLP, but other people are bored by it as a whole. Or take my mom. When I was visiting my parents today, she was talking about how she got baseball tickets. She was excited, because she enjoys baseball. I find it boring. It’s the same thing with that episode. It appeals to you, but it just didn’t appeal to me.
@Ihhh
No, I can’t. I can’t even process that question. I literally don’t know how to describe why something is boring. That question makes no sense to me. It just bored me, that’s all I know.

Can you at least explain why you find the action dull and why you think it is` boring? And can you make sure your explanations don’t just raise more questions? Also, subjectivity and objectivity are not black and white, opinions can be argued, and are not infallible. And choreography is not subjective.
It is absolutely not objective.
“the flashback with celestia and nightmare moon, while not all that important, had well choreographed action with a very emotional ending”
That’s subjective. I didn’t find it to be emotional. I found the action to be dull and boring. You found it to be interesting. different subjective opinions.
And just because something is ‘complex’ doesn’t make it interesting. It can be very complex, but if it’s boring, it’s hard to get emotionally invested in it.

You don’t seem to understand the difference between an opinion and the arguments used to justify said opinion. The former is subjective, but the latter is objective.

Except you never addressed any of my points. Yes, you ignored it, because your response was unrelated to any of the points I made.
Haber, you’re not Larson and you never will be. Cut the bullshit and be yourself. People will like you more.

To add onto what the other guy said, Rainbow Dash also acted so arrogant as to be incredibly obnoxious, which makes her difficult to root for. That combined with how horrible the other characters are acting leaves the whole thing just being incredibly unpleasant… Most of the other bad episodes didn’t make every main character unlikable. That is why it is so hated. Still, arguably better than Spike At Your Service… Arguably.
@Ihhh
I’ll never understand why people expect other people to be able to explain in detail why they didn’t enjoy something. Or ‘what they didn’t like about it’. I didn’t like it because it wasn’t interesting. I don’t know why it wasn’t interesting. I just know it wasn’t. Nothing about it was engaging. Nothing about it made me care about what was happening. If I left out any details, it’s because it was too boring for me to have detailed memories of it.

Um… a lot more happened than that. First off, there was the princesses mysteriously disappearing, they don’t immediately find out what the problem is, nor do they know the solution right away, and it isn’t until twilight uses the flashback potion that any of them know what to do, and it took a lot of work to get to the tree of harmony, with the characters getting into considerable danger. For example, they don’t get very close to the tree without being attacked by a monster, causing them to have to send Twilight back to ponyville so that equestria can have a ruler if they don’t find Celestia and Luna, and when discord convinces her to return to the forest, we see just how much their words mean, with twilight being captured by the plants and her friends having to save her, and when they finally do get to the tree, putting the elements back isn’t easy, as the plants capture them and they have to struggle to get the elements into the tree. Not only that, it gives twilight some character development with her new status and how she deals with it. Seems pretty complex to me.
Also, the flashback with celestia and nightmare moon, while not all that important, had well choreographed action with a very emotional ending, and it doesn’t really detract from anything, and the other 2 flashbacks exposed important plot points, tied up some loose ends, and provided good foreshadowing.
You can feel however you want, but you should be calm about it and your explanations have to be logically sound, and you cannot leave out important details or oversimplify something to make it seem simpler than what it actually is. Sorry if my comment is disjointed, I’m not good at structuring my thoughts.
@Ihhh
It wasn’t all that complex. It was just “plants are invading. Let’s take the elements to a tree. OK, it’s all better now”.
The flashbacks weren’t interesting, and didn’t feel all that crucial to the story.
Optimus pulls off a mean Bumblebee impression. :)

I guess, but by that logic, critics shouldn’t exist.
Not OBJECTIVELY. It’s all a matter of taste. No matter how bad you think something is, someone likes it.
So are you saying that there is no such thing as a good or bad show or episode?

I still can’t see how it bored you, but I really can’t think of anything to say.

You didn’t make any points that needed addressing. You gave your opinion, I disagreed with your opinion, that’s it.

I explained to you why I found it interesting and why your arguments don’t make sense. You ignored everything I said.

Ok? I don’t understand how you could think that, considering how complex the plot is, but whatever.
Just boring. Nothing interesting happened, and it felt stretched out.
