As far as first impressions go, this really could have gone better.
 
Still, Dash is in with Spitfire, Soarin and Fleetfoot at least. They already know what she’s capable of and that this is far from her best.
 
I just wish the show would make the Wonderbolts anything other than massive dicks when they aren’t busy being incompetent. It really makes you wonder why Rainbow Dash even wants to join them.

I think it is something like stage fright. Dash loves to show off, but she’s clumsy when she does it.
 
Well we know she doesn’t do as well when she is actively thinking about having to perform (thanks to the episode “Sonic Rainboom”), so I could easily see this as a case where she started off nervous but basically ok, made a small mistake, tried to correct it and made a bigger one, and so on until she ends up at this point.
 
Either that or after a lifetime of rolling twenties, the universe handed her a 1.

What do you suppose might happen after this? We know she’ll get a new nickname for her screw up, but will she consider quitting the Wonderbolts if it becomes too unbearable for her, or can she salvage it with an act of heroism?
