I agree.
There probably is.
I actually enjoy Starlight’s bullshit and other ponies’ visible disapproval of it because it takes me all the way back to season 1, when Twilight insisted on doing things the earth pony way.
IMO if Starlight lived in Canterlot it’d be a lot easier for her to fit in. Ponyville don’t trust magic, after all.
I wonder if there should be a law against using magic on ponies without their permission in this universe. But then, that would hardly make for exciting television would it.
