Because your right eye is the dominant one, most likely.

Which one can you keep closed with no discomfort? If it’s the left, then bingo, you are indeed a righty.

Oddly, I can only do it with my right eye. Left one seems adamant on making my entire cheek scrunch up too.
Infact my left eye is only winking because the bottom lid is closing it, whilst with the right it’s the top lid.
Oh wow, I can also only move my right eyebrow on it’s own. The left always take the right with it when I try.

My face looks pretty symmetrical, always assumed the muscles were too. Bodies are weird.
