Background Pony #8895
Hey, I have a question for all you MLP and Greek mythology enthusiasts out there. What if the Mane Six,and most of the background ponies of MLP (specifically Derpy,Vinyl,Octavia,Roseluck,Lyra, and Bon Bon), were all the children of the major and minor Greek gods and goddesses? For example, Twilight could be the daughter of Zeus, the King of the Greek Gods, as well as the most powerful one (correct me if I’m wrong, as I’m not really well-informed when it comes to Greek mythology), Rarity could be the daughter of Aphrodite, Pinkie could be the daughter of Dionysus…the list goes on and on. I’m actually thinking of writing a story based on this very concept, but I need help with figuring out which pony will belong to which Greek God and/or Goddess, and I need a plot for this story. It could be as simple as these ponies, and still more others, finding out about their Divine Parentage, and learning how to use their Godly powers to help them to protect Equestria, as well as the rest of the planet, from Greek monsters, such as the Titans, and even from other Gods like Hades. So, what do you guys think? Will you all help me? Also please note that this has NOTHING to do with Rick Riordan’s Percy Jackson Series, and that this is entirely AU after the very last episode of season six of MLP,okay?

Maybe you should make twilight Athena’s daughter, it suits her character more because think about it twilight is a book worm and knows a lot & Athena is the Greek goddess of wisdom. Also you should learn Greek mythology.

Another fun fact: there are waaay more Greek gods & goddess then you think! Tartarus is a god! So is the river Styx! There’s even multiple sun gods!

So that explains fluttershy’s stare. Wait, that might actually be a good headcanon and not just a joke.

The End wasn't The End - Found a new home after the great exodus of 2012

Actually, it was the unique mixture of Gorgon’s blood and sea-foam that gave rise to both the majestic and warlike Pegasi and the repulsive yet kindhearted Chrysoar.

Chrysoar was a winged pig-man who, by sheer force of wit, became a king. Also, when the first pegasus ascended, his last remaining artifact was left in the possession of his wise brother. The artifact was an item known as the Pegasus Down.
